highest standard and the staff and service in the health and beauty spa was simply top notch. Myself and my partner could not stop talking about the service we received. The 7th heaven breaks are possibly the best value anyone can avail of. I will certainly be availing of these in the near future. ---

general is beautiful & well looked after. Bunclody town has all you need for a good break away, not that you need to leave the hotel as it consists of leisure facilites, a spa & fine food. ---

We had a fantastic weekend at the Carlton Millrace. On arrival we got an upgrade because of our 10 year anniversary which made it all so special. We experienced a fantastic meal and all the staff were so accommadating. Would love to go back some time. Really central to the town and with the golf course accross the way plenty to do.

Myself and my boyfriend stayed at the Carlton Millrace hotel with 2 friends of ours. it was a most relaxing weekend and we made great use of the spa. the room was spotless clean and very spacious, the bar was great as it made us cocktails all night, the restaurant had great quality food and real value for money.

relaxation and we planned to use the spa. we were disappointed then when the spa was not to open on our second day but someone came in specially for us. Thnk you for a lovely break. A suggestion from us would be when emailing confimation to let clients know if facilities are not in use during their stay. We choose your hotel because of the spa and to try out your upstairs restaurant, this was closed during our stay and only for staff member who came in spa would have been shut too. ---

We all had a great time, teenagers enjoyed swimming every day, mum and dad enjoyed touring the area. Meals were lovely both in the bar on the friday night, and also lucy's rooftop on the saturday night. Also entertainment on both nights of our stay was really good. Definitely, recommend to friends for a visit, or weekend!

I only attended the Hotel for one evening as I was attending a function. I arrived mid afternoon to be greeted by a friendly receptionist who checked us in and informed us of all amenities, we went to ...
the bar to have a drink and ended up having a skinfull as the bar man was humorous and polite, we later attended a 40th party where the food was well presented and the room was spacious and warm. The bar staff were more then accommodating when looking for a late drink as a resident. The following morning we attended the breakfast room where the variety was extensive and fresh which is rarely found these days.
On checking out we were furnished with a full itemised bill with a copy of all signed receipts so we can check our bill without the discomfort of having to ask for the receipts, this is a policy all hotels should adopt but mostly don't.
Over all my stay was easy and pleasant. The pool area was hygienic and quite and the towels looked and felt fresh. A trully five star service. well done ---

A very nice comfortable hotel. But the lack of decent internet facilities in the room is a major weakness for business people. Even the internet facility in the lobby works badly and is not reliable.

would think twice about re-visiting Carlton Millrace unless internet facilities are improved
I travel throughout Ireland and most hotels, large or small, have far better basic facilities. ---

My wife and i spent three lovely days in the Carlton Millrace Hotel and had a lovely time ,the staff were really nice and the hotel was perfect in every way must mention the food was excellent we would back again
