Fishing
Fishing in the river Slaney one of the few Irish rivers that run spring salmon commences 10th March to August 31st while sea trout. A state licence is required for salmon and sea trout. Daily and weekly permits are available for private and club waters.

Walking and Cycling
Stretching over 125 Miles, coastal walks are plentiful in Wexford. They include shore walks or tracks along our re claimed slob - lands. The hotel is located on the foot of Mount Leinster which is very popular for hiking or biking. Starting from Kildavin near Bunclody, forest tracks offer easy access. Mount Leinster is the highest point of the Blackstairs mountains and is a favorite spot for hang-glider when conditions prevail.
