Tourist Attractions & Activities - Newtownbarry House, Bunclody is a member of the Wexford Arts Trial. While the house is of historic nature, guests and visitors are welcome to explore the gardens, house and art gallery on the grounds
- National Heritage 1798 Visitor Centre, Enniscorthy: Ireland’s most modern visitor attraction tells the story of the birth of popular democracy in Europe through a spectacular exhibition using state of the art audio-visual material, including interactive computers.
- Wexford National Heritage Park: In just one visit you can experience 9,000 years of Irish history in fascinating setting of woodland, riverbank and native Irish dwellings.Open daily from April to September 9.30am to 6.30pm and October to March from 9.30am to 5.30pm
- Kennedy Homestead: Visit the birhtplace of late President John F Kennedy's great-grandfather, where you can enjoy an audio-viual presentation and guided tour, which celebrates the story of five generations.
- Boolavogue Fr Murphy Centre: Fr Murphy’s house is a magnificent example of an 18th century rural thatched, stone built dwelling. Storytelling sessions on the third Thursday of every month at 8.30pm in the Centre.
- John F Kennedy Arboretum, New Ross: The magnificent J.F.K. Arboretum contains a vast collection of trees and shrubs. Spend a fantastic fun filled day out at the arboretum, maze, picnic areas and lake.
- Ballymore Historic Features: Award winning family museum, including picture gallery, farm display, 1798 exhibition and a walk about amongst heritage features.
- Hook Lighthouse: One of the oldest operational lighthouses in the world.
- Dunbrody Famine Ship, The Quays, New Ross: The Dunbrody is a full scale reproduction of a 19th Century Famine ship (three masted Barque built in Quebec in 1845) Open Daily March - October.
- Irish Agricultural Museum is located in the old farm and stable buildings of Johnstown Castle Estate.
- Ferns Castle: This 13th Century Norman Fortification is now in state care. A visitor centre is located with the grounds with guided tours available within the summer months.
- Yola Farmstead Folk Park: An 18th Century Farmstead featuring a restored Farmhouse, Forge Schoolhouse, Working Mill, Thatached Cottage, Mini Farm, Play Area, Aviary Craft Shop and Granny’s Kitchen for wholesome food.
- Kiltrea Pottery, Enniscorthy: The Kiltrea shop which adjoins the pottery provides inspiration, stimulation and the practical opportunity to browse through their complete range of stock which includes spectacular one-off pieces and keenly priced ‘seasonal specials.’
- Country Crafts, Kilmore Quay: Overlooking the picturesque fishing harbour and marina in Kilmore Quay, Country Crafts is a treasure trove of Irish crafts, and giftware.
- Belmount Equestrian Centre, Camolin: Daily/weekly pony camps, Group and individual lesions in show jumping, dressage and cross country.
- Butterfly Farm Equestrian Centre, Camolin: Set in 90 acres of farmland you can enjoy outdoor arenas and hacking through woods with qualified instructors on hand.
